Mary May has held the position of ALOA executive director since January 1, 2013, and began her career in association management more than 40 years ago with ALOA Security Professions Association, Inc. (ALOA). She started off working in the area of membership services, and eventually assumed the position of Executive Assistant for 17 years. In addition to working as the executive director, she managed the headquarters office and the convention registrations for ALOA events.

Mark Dawson has worked in the security industry for more than 40 years and holds several related certifications. Dawson Security Group is in its 26th year of service and offers physical and electronic security solutions to commercial, residential, retail, and industrial clients in and around the Southeast Texas market where they call The Woodlands home. He has been returning some of his success back to the industry by serving in various capacities in state and national associations and is currently serving his 8th year as the ALOA-SPAI South Central Director and is seated on several committees.
