These heavy duty electric mortise locksets stay latched even when unlocked, maintaining fire door integrity and eliminate the need for exposed and vulnerable electric strikes and magnetic locks or request-to-exit devices. All SDC mortise locks feature a mortise cylinder* to manually retract the latch.
