Zwipe is a high tech Fingerprint Authentication company, developing, producing and marketing technology that, through the analysis and matching of an individual’s unique fingerprint, verify the person’s identity.

It is widely expected in the security industry that a “digital biometric handshake” will replace PINs, passwords and signatures on all platforms. However, to enable biometric authentication everywhere, it is obvious that not all platforms can be powered by battery. Zwipe has developed and commercialized the only biometric authentication engine that can perform full ID verification without any use of batteries or fixed power supply.

After five years in development, Zwipe launched their concept in Q4 of 2014,  instantly gaining traction in the market and attracting partnerships with industry leaders in Payments, Government ID and Access Control.

Our most recent product release is the Zwipe MasterCard, the world’s first fingerprint-activated contactless payment card.  This card is the first of its kind to combine the security of biometric authentication with the speed and convenience of contactless payments.
