Altronix’s new eBridgePlus Ethernet over Coax/PoE Adapters transmit IP video, data and power over coaxial cable enabling legacy infrastructure to support IP devices up to 1500 feet (5X maximum Ethernet distance) without repeaters.
eBridgePlus receivers are available in single, 4 and 16 port configurations that seamlessly operate with eBridgePlus single port transceivers. This new product series supports PoE and PoE+ cameras, accessories, and access control devices. A new eBridge 1PCRM receiver passes power to cameras or devices from a powered switch, managed or unmanaged midspan. Utilizing a managed midspan such as the Altronix NetWay 8M or 16M permits remotely resetting and the real-time status monitoring of devices. eBridgePlus also provides auto detection and protection of legacy non-PoE cameras and devices to avoid damage to equipment.
