E-Plex Enterprise Software
Kaba Access Control's E-Plex Enterprise (Version 2) Software with expanded card credential support enables end-users to manage both PROX locks and Smart Card locks simultaneously. Smart cards supported are: Mifare®, DESFire®, and HID iClass™; PROX card supported are any HID compatible 125 KHz PROX RFID cards with wiegand bit format ranging between the standard 26 bits, and up to 84 bits.
The E-Plex Enterprise (Version 2) Software manages Kaba’s E-Plex 5200/5600/5700 standard door locks and their equivalent Stand-Alone Access Controllers and the E-Plex 3200/3600/3700 narrow stile locks. The E3700/5700 are PROX-based dual credential locks; the E5200/3200 are single-credential PIN only locks, and the E3600/5600 are smart card-based locks.
With its SQL based database, the E-Plex Enterprise (Version 2) Software can be installed in client/server environments (for networking), or as a standalone application. It includes database import capabilities to download user information for quick startups. The “Access Groups” feature simplifies programming and management of users across multiple locks.
