Coin cell batteries are used for powering watches, hearing aids, calculators, medical devises, keyless entry FOBS, toys, portable electronics and many other applications. They are available as both primary (non-rechargeable) and secondary (rechargeable) batteries; most consumer applications involve replaceable primary cells. The most popular types are 1.55 volt silver oxide batteries (typically used as watch batteries), 1.4 volt zinc air batteries (primarily used as hearing aid and cochlear implant batteries), 1.5 volt alkaline manganese, and 3 volt lithium manganese. ZEUS Battery Products also can provide coin cell battery holders. They offer both surface-mount and through-hole-mount types.
