Krieger RF and Acoustical Hybrid Door

Aug. 30, 2023

Krieger’s new radio frequency (RF) and acoustical hybrid door is designed for installations where TEMPEST standards are required. The hybrid door provides 40 dB of RF shielding protection, and comes with a Sound Transmission Class (STC) 51 acoustical rating, which means loud sounds from outside can be only faintly detected, ensuring a high level of privacy and sound control.

Single or double hybrid doors are available in any size and configuration, and with manual or power-operated controls. Assemblies can be tied into any type of new or existing RF shielding construction. Krieger’s unique RF seal provides a tight seal while dramatically increasing the life of the door and reducing maintenance costs.

Krieger’s standard and custom-engineered frame profiles complement any wall construction or architectural style, and come with a threshold that meets the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) requirement of ½" without a portable ramp. Custom finish options include wood veneer, prime painted, stainless steel, specialized moldings, and more.
