New York, NY (September 15, 2014) – John Bell received the Builders Hardware and Manufacturers Association (BHMA) 2013-2014 Award of Excellence at the CoNEXTions 2014/DHI Show at the Hilton Anatole Hotel in Dallas, TX. This award is presented to a member of the builders hardware industry who demonstrates excellence in meeting the needs of building users, architects, contractors, and manufacturers. Although Bell was unable to attend, Jerry Davis, manager of Bell Hardware’s Eugene, OR location, was there to accept the award on his behalf.
Bell has led the family-run, full service hardware supplier to continued success since taking over as president in 2000. Under his leadership, Bell Hardware has become a premier supplier of commercial grade doors, frames and hardware, and has expanded to seven locations throughout Oregon, Southern Washington and Northern California. The company’s 79 year history has allowed it to build valuable long-term relationships with the industry’s major suppliers and contractors.

BHMA has been recognizing leaders in their field with this award since 1989. Over the past quarter century, BHMA has honored 27 distributors and hardware professionals for their service and contributions to the successful projects of the building and architectural community.
