PDQ introduces its new Spring Cushion Stop (SCS), an optional add-on that can be used for new DS/DSHO arms. It also can be installed on existing DS/DSHO arm applications using the existing threaded hole for the bumper stop and one of the mounting screw holes.
The spring cushion kit is available in 2 spring sizes, so it can be tailored to provide more effective cushioning for specific door widths. Designed to be self- aligning, this unit works with any door that incorporates a PDQ DS/DSHO arm with a cushioned bumper (won't fit with old style metal bumper). PDQ's Spring Cushion is manufactured with investment cast stainless steel for corrosion resistance and durability. The spring cushion option has been extensively tested in high abuse situations, and far exceeds the most demanding field
conditions. The 999032-01/02 does not alter or decrease the strength of the DS/DSHO arm. Hand is determined in the field and reversible for LH and RH Doors.
