Low Energy Power Operators

Sept. 19, 2013

Hager Companies introduces the 8400 Series Low Energy Power Operator, a new line of low energy power operators and actuators. The Low Energy Power Operator is an ideal solution to meet ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) door opening requirements. The operator is extremely quiet when in operation which eliminates noise in sensitive areas, making it ideal for hospitals, libraries, senior care centers, and universities.

“We at Hager are very excited to introduce the Low Energy Power Operator. With this new operator we are able to target expanded markets and offer a state-of-the-art product to our current customer base,” says Bob Wilkins, director of product development and marketing.

Founded in 1849, St. Louis-based Hager Companies offers more than 6,000 full-line quality door hardware products under one brand name. With 11 product lines including architectural and residential hinges, two types of continuous hinges, trim, threshold and weatherstripping, sliding door hardware, locks, door controls, exit devices, and access control products, Hager focuses on architectural hardware that exceeds today’s building standards and is built to last.
