Sept. 21, 2015

Yale, an ASSA ABLOY Group brand, introduces its 6000 Series commercial exit device, featuring a modern design and smooth, quiet operation. The new 6000 Series exit device provides an attractive, secure solution for multi-family, office, retail and other commercial facilities and is available in a variety of functions and configurations.

The Yale 6000 Series exit device comes in rim, mortise, surface vertical and concealed vertical rod types and in Yale’s patented SquareBolt® configuration that offers extra security over standard rim latchbolts. The 6000 Series exit device is available in wide and narrow stile and has 13 functions to choose from. All are also certified to ANSI/BHMA Grade 1 requirements to offer long life and reliability.

“Our new 6000 Series exit device brings together modern aesthetics, superior functionality and Grade 1 reliability,” said Christopher Gaughan, director of product management, commercial mechanical, ASSA ABLOY. “Adding the 6000 exit to the Yale portfolio rounds out a robust offering of quality products for commercial facilities.”

The 6000 Series features an aluminum rail with a heavy-duty angled end cap that protects the rail, eliminates catch points and reduces damage. Plus, the 6000 Series exit device mechanics provide quieter, smoother operation for noise-sensitive environments.

The Yale 6000 Series exit device is available with a choice of over 25 standard and Reflections® decorative levers and five architectural finishes to match any décor and is available with Yale’s Microshield® antimicrobial coating.
