Touchless “Wave” Switches

June 1, 2016

Dortronics 5278 Touchless “Wave” Switches utilize Optical Infrared Technology to allow hands-free entry and exit of cleanrooms. The embedded sensor picks up a simple wave of the hand to activate the switch. No need to touch the switch; however, if inadvertently touched the sensor will pick up the motion before actual contact, resulting in normal operation.
