System M-FA (Friendly Access) was developed and thoroughly-tested over the past year to meet all of the requirements of ANSI/ICC A117.1 accessible buildings with regard to Door Closing Speed and Opening Force. FritsJurgens' patented, maintenance-free bearings provide smooth performance for interior and exterior, wood and metal doors weighing up to 660 pounds and is not limited in the width and height of any door leaf.
For installers, System M eliminates the need to cut into the floor for a bucket closer, saving both time and money on the install. No cement, no ugly closer cover plate, no terrazzo pan, no condo-board approval. Great for retrofit projects.
