Continental Access, a division of NAPCO Security Technologies, introduced its E-Access Readers for Continental’s E-Access Embedded Access Control line. E-Access readers feature ultrafast transaction times of under a second, Wiegand and OSDP support, easy automated credential issuance and no-touch Bluetooth mobile credentials. Several models are available for standard and mullion applications, and also with digital keypad.
E-Access is Continental’s self-contained, embedded solution, which requires no software to load. It’s quick and easy to deploy, ready out of the box, scalable from two doors to 256 through one-door, two-door and four-door controller models (expandable to eight doors) and the new Readers. It provides hybrid access control in a cloud-based system, with the advantages of on-premise access. Also featured is secure cloud-based remote management via any popular browser as well as mobile app management on a choice of smart devices.
