Keri Systems Inc. announces the release of 'Neutron," an economical, single-door, mini controller created for smaller systems. Neutron can handle both "in" and "out" readers, using Keri's exit readers in parallel with our standard NXT readers. Eight Neutron controllers can be connected together via time-tested RS-485 communications.
Neutron is designed to exclusively run on Keri's simplified graphical interface, Visual Doors, yet carries nearly the same powerful features as our NXT controllers. Neutron runs on the Visual Doors version of Keri’s Door.NET software and maintains a 1000 credential capacity and a 4,000 event buffer (offline). The Neutron controller is designed to work with Keri’s NXT readers in both 125kHz and 13.56MHz. Traditional 125 kHz Wiegand readers and keypads are not supported. Supplied inputs and relay outputs are fixed to supporting REX (Request to Exit), DPS (Door Position Switch) and door relay.
Neutron is available on the shelf, installs easily without knowledge of networking, employs traditional and well-understood technology, and is simple to program.
