With SARGENT Seos Technology, Cellphone Credential Opens SE LP10 Integrated Wiegand Lock
NEW HAVEN, CT, September 18, 2012 – SARGENT Manufacturing Company, an ASSA ABLOY Group company, announces the addition of Seos technology to its SE LP10 multiCLASS® Integrated Wiegand Lock.
The SE LP10 is the first integrated access control lock to incorporate the award-winning Seos technology platform, to provide security, portability, and flexibility. Seos is the world’s first commercial ecosystem for issuing, delivering and revoking digital keys on mobile phones with NFC technology. With Seos, mobile phones can replace mechanical keys and access cards and open doors to homes, hotels, offices, hospitals, universities, industries and commercial buildings.
The SE LP10 is SIO-enabled (SE) to offer the heightened security of HID Global’s next generation access control credentials. It is interoperable with the iCLASS SE platform of smart cards and readers from HID to ensure data authenticity and privacy through multi-layered security.
The SE LP10 supports multiple industry-leading credentials, bringing a new level of flexibility to the range of SARGENT Integrated Wiegand access control solutions. This makes it ideal for mixed credential populations or facilities transitioning to higher security credentials. Supported credentials include: HID, AWID, Indala (open formats only), and EM4102 125 kHz proximity, HID 13.56 MHz iCLASS®, ISO14443A (MIFARE) CSN, ISO14443B CSN, ISO15693 CSN, HID iCLASS SE, SE for DESFire EV1, and SE for MIFARE Classic.
The SE LP10 features a streamlined integrated design, which incorporates SARGENT ANSI/BHMA Grade 1 hardware with card reader, door position switch, and request to exit monitoring sensors, greatly reducing installation time. This lock is available in: 10 Line Cylindrical Lock, 8200 Series Mortise Lock, and 80 Series Exit Device.
The lock also includes lockdown capability; pre-terminated ElectroLynx® connectors for reduced installation time and improved reliability; a direct Wiegand output that eliminates the need for an interface panel; and the flexibility of a reader housing available in both two-tone gray and all black.
