Integration allows users to achieve simple, seamless facility security control

INDIANAPOLIS, IN – (September 26, 2014)STANLEY Security, a leading provider of access control and integrated security solutions, announces the integration of its OMNILOCK Wi-Q wireless lock product line with the Key Systems, Inc. Global Facilities Management System (GFMS), bringing together two highly trusted names in the security industry.

The integration offers users the ability to control access to critical keys and other assets directly within the Wireless Access Management System (WAMS) solution environment. Programming access to keys is done through the WAMS interface users are accustomed to, reducing training and administrative time.

Tracking usage of keys, weapons, medical devices and other assets is also available in WAMS through the integration. GFMS sends all events from Key Systems, Inc. devices into WAMS for reporting and monitoring.

“Our partnership with Key Systems and Wi-Q’s integration with the Global Facilities Management System reinforces our innovative, zealous perspective on the future of security and technology communications,” said Josh Jackson, Director of Global Product Integration, STANLEY Security. “Partnerships like this continue to develop and expand the quality products we are able to provide our customers.”

“One of Key Systems’ core values is giving our customers peace of mind when it comes to their security,” said Ben Morley, Product Integration Manager, Key Systems, Inc. “By partnering with STANLEY and their Wi-Q wireless locks, we’re continuing to emphasize this value with a company we can trust and that we know will help our customers reach the high standard for security that they expect.”

The integration also allows users to control access to physical assets other than keys, including medical equipment, radios, weapons, tablets and phones. All capabilities built into the Key Systems’ GFMS software will still be available with the integration, so users can receive key-centric, scheduled reports directly in their e-mail inboxes. Users who keep their keys out too long can be alerted via SMS and e-mail, and those alerts can be escalated to management or security at any time.
