Sargent Manufacturing Company now offers HID® iCLASS® 13.56 MHz smart card technology in its Passport 1000 P1 and P2 Power over Ethernet (PoE) campus access control solutions. The iCLASS technology makes physical access control more powerful through encryption and mutual authentication while offering versatile interoperability. At the same time, iCLASS is user-friendly.

The SARGENT Passport 1000 P1 is an online ANSI/BHMA Grade 1 lock, capable of real-time door status monitoring and lockdown, and available in exit device, mortise and cylindrical lock configurations. It installs easily with no wires to run to the door and allows communications over an IEEE 802.11 b/g Wifi network using open standard equipment, simplifying integration into an existing access control system. Both Passport P1 and P2 support magnetic stripe and HID® 125 kHz prox or 13.56 MHz iCLASS® credentials, and are available with an optional keypad.
