Securitron EcoPower™ is a highly efficient power supply designed to work with low-power electrified locks, such as the Corbin Russwin or SARGENT mortise locks with Ecoflex™ technology. This small, 4” cube access control power supply reduces standby power consumption to only 8.5mW (0.0085W), a 99% decrease compared to current linear and switching power supplies.

“When we started to develop EcoPower, we began with the goal of producing a power supply with zero standby consumption,” said David Corbin, Sr. Product Manager, ASSA ABLOY EMS & OEM Group. “EcoPower is a completely unique offering in today’s market and will dramatically reduce energy cost and consumption, reinforcing ASSA ABLOY’s commitment to providing sustainable security solutions.”

EcoPower can reduce total door power consumption from 12W or more to a phenomenal 0.3W, when used with a lock like those leveraging Ecoflex technology. The low power consumption means that the included EcoPower battery provides 24 or more hours of backup power.

Presented in a small, aesthetic package, EcoPower includes two outputs (lock and card reader), a battery charger, an access control input, and a fire alarm input with optional fire alarm latching for Canadian installations. This makes EcoPower is the most efficient, fully featured power supply available today.
