Keri Systems Inc. is providing state-of-the-art, reliable fingerprint reading in its most attractive and unobtrusive packaging to date. BioSync Readers are available in a variety of configurations, including fingerprint-only, fingerprint and card, or fingerprint and keypad. Typically used in higher security applications, the readers can be utilized for primary user identification (-fingerprint only) or for secondary verification after card or PIN access. The Readers are compatible with Keri’s NXT controllers with an NXT-WI Wiegand Interface, PXL-500W Tiger Controller, and 3rd party controllers that accept industry-standard Wiegand-type readers.
BioSync Readers contain both an internal beeper and a multi-colored LED bar to indicate fingerprint acceptance and access granted or denied. The fingerprint template sharing between readers is done using RS-485 networking, with an op on for TCP/IP, and Keri’s BioManager software is used for enrollment and template management. Each unit can store up to 9,500 fingerprint templates. The Keypad and Card models can also be used outdoors with appropriate covers.
