Salto introduces the IQ Mini Gateway, the smallest-ever BLUEnet Wireless peripheral, which is now available in an even smaller device. The Salto IQ Mini combines the best of Salto hardware and software capabilities into a small and versatile design. With advanced BLUEnet wireless technology, it meets the demands of modern cloud-based access control applications.
The small, innovative IQ Mini form factor device of Salto works in tandem with on-device IQ Gateways to help deliver more flexibility and capability. It simplifies network infrastructure while keeping everything secure and connected.
Don’t let the size fool you: the compact IQ Mini is a powerful and versatile solution for a wide range of uses. It provides direct and secure connectivity to the Salto cloud ecosystem, adding online features, BLUEnet connectivity, and SVN interoperability with other Salto smart locking devices.
The IQ Mini’s wall-plug design setup takes just minutes to install and configure. Its powerful technology easily creates the BLUEnet network, quickly communicating with the access control cloud for system management and maintenance via a secure connection over the local network.
In addition to connectivity support for the Salto BLUEnet Wireless network, the IQ Mini has built-in SVN-Flex technology, which quickly and securely connects smart locking devices like unit doors and readers (increasing SVN credential update point capacity based on BLUEnet Wireless technology). This allows smart access network access points and devices to work together as a team resulting in faster response times and improved security.
For an even better connected BLUEnet experience and to facilitate the commissioning process for installers, the IQ Mini allows users to connect and control up to four BLUEnet devices. The Salto IQ Mini is also outfitted with the versatile USB port and has input voltage of 5V. It includes standard encryption communications that meet the highest industry security ratings.
Available in white, the Salto IQ Mini is available for pre-order today and will hit shelves in September.
