SDC Standalone Door Control and Privacy Function for Public Facilities

April 9, 2020

The SDC EntryCheck E75 Privacy is a low-cost, indoor/outdoor, standalone electronic battery-powered solution, providing controlled access for basic and multilevel high-security requirements. Its perfect for new or retrofitting coffeehouse, fast-food, service-station or convenience-store restroom facilities, with no wiring or power supplies required. It also is a cost-effective addition to educational or corporate campuses to provide a privacy function to board rooms, counseling rooms and meeting spaces.

Customers or employees receive an access code to type in on the keypad to access the room and simply push the inside red button when the door is closed to activate the privacy function. The red outside LED flashes to indicate the room is occupied. The privacy function is deactivated when the user turns the inside lever to leave, and the lock is ready again for another user.

Signage clearly indicates status and function, so no user instructions are required. Management can override the privacy function with a key or master code in case of emergency or to clear the room of occupants who overstayed their welcome. A prox-reader version also is available.
