Viking Electronics Updates E-10-WHA Door Entry Speaker with New Finish
Viking Electronics now offers its classic door entry speakerphone in a white powder painted finish.
“Customers kept painting these phones white, and we want to help our customers as much as possible, so now Viking is painting it for them,” Product Specialist Andrew Joseph says.
The E-10-WHA is a telephone line-powered speakerphone that’s designed to provide quick and reliable two-way hands-free communication. When the Call button is pressed, the E-10-WHA comes off-hook and remains off-hook, which allows personnel to identify who is at the phone. For additional security, the E-10-WHA automatically answers inbound calls for personnel to monitor the area.
End the call by simply pressing the Cal button again or hanging up the phone. Built-in call-progress detection prevents the E-10-WHA from remaining off-hook and tying up the phone line or extension. A programmable call-length timeout, busy-signal detection and silence timeout ensure the E-10-WHA is ready for the next user.
The versatile E-10-WHA can be connected directly to a CO line or an analog PABX/KSU station that’s programmed as a ringdown circuit or used with a stand-alone ringdown circuit, such as Viking’s DLE-200B. The E-10-WHA also can be used with a Viking dialer and is compatible with many of Viking’s Door Entry Controllers.
The E-10-WHA is designed for indoor use. For outdoor applications, model E-10-WHA-EWP includes Enhanced Weather Protection.
