Uncertainty over when normal activity can resume in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic has forced a second postponement of the ISC West 2020 trade show. The show, to be held in the Sands Expo in Las Vegas, now will be held Oct. 5–8.
Originally scheduled for March, the show had been moved to July 20–22.
In an email, Will Wise, vice president of Reed Exhibitions Group, which operates the ISC West show, said further pushing out the show dates to October would provide “the best scenario to support the security and public-safety industry, in addition to the Las Vegas community.”
ISC West, along with primary sponsor, the Security Industry Association, provided the following schedule:
- The SIA Education@ISC West Conference Program will kick off one day prior to Exhibit Hall opening on Monday, Oct. 5, and run through Wednesday, Oct. 7. SIA Committee Meetings and the SIA Market Leaders Reception will take place Oct. 5.
- The ISC West Exhibit Hall will open Tuesday, Oct. 6, through Thursday, Oct. 8 with the standard operational hours.
- The ISC West Keynote Series will take place Oct. 6 and Oct. 7, with the SIA Women in Security Forum Breakfast event taking place Oct. 8.
ISC East remains on schedule for Nov. 18–19 in New York City.
