H.L. Flake held their 6th annual industry tradeshow at their headquarters in Houston, TX, March 23-25. Displaying H.L. Flake’s continued growth, their show’s records were again broken as this year it had achieved its highest numbers of instructors, exhibitors and attendees.
H.L. Flake’s tradeshow was preceded by two full days of education on a variety of subjects and experience levels. Each class provided CEU’s and were instructed by seasoned industry professionals. Classes on Friday concluded with a party at the H.L. Flake headquarters complete with gourmet barbecue, a live band, and a casual opportunity to meet and mingle with both H.L. Flake’s staff and representatives from a variety of hardware manufacturers.
For the Saturday tradeshow, H.L. Flake opened their warehouse to their customers as attendees and exhibitors filled a repurposed receiving area of the building. Six rows of exclusive show specials, product displays and live demonstrations captured over 400 guests’ attention throughout the day, but the star at the end of the show was the raffling of over $25,000 in prizes with the grand prize of Laser Key Products’ new 3D Elite Key Machine going home to Locksmith Monkey of Portland, Oregon.
Comments from locksmith attendees were along the lines of “great classes and great people!” The Friday night party and barbecue was a big hit.
