The Italian Clevertech Group designs and produces advanced systems about packaging, whereas its division Automation & Control Systems (ACS) specializes in the manufacture of keys and locks systems.
Eng. Giuseppe Reggiani, General Director of the Group, tells us about the development of the company: “Clevertech Group is celebrating this year its 30th anniversary, a milestone that is evidence of the firm’s excellence in providing machinery and equipment to the leading manufacturers of locks and security systems. Over the years, we have gained experience amongst all market sectors: residential, commercial, security, furnishings, and automotive. For all of these, we have specific technologic solutions that can be applied to solve all of the customer’s issues.
How did the ACS department handle the production of automated systems about keys and locks?
“It has always been in our interest to design machines and systems that could effectively overcome any kind of challenge, in an efficient manner that would guarantee a return of the capital invested.”
What are ACS’s distinctive products and technologies?
“In the last few years, the company has focused on the production of equipment for assembling. This is because we consider that the assembling departments of our customers are directly responsible for the quality and the costs of their final products. Therefore, by using our automated systems, it is not only possible to reduce the staff in this division and as a consequence the industrial costs, but also to increase the productivity of higher quality pieces.”
Which commercial and customer service developments are prospering in the various continents, and especially in the Americas?
“With our newly inaugurated ACS North America department, we intend to have a more significant presence on the American market while taking advantage of our newly inaugurated Bonita Springs headquarters. This market, in our opinion, will definitely become more interesting if it will continue to pursue the re-entry of certain supply chains that once migrated to China. It is certain that the firms in the USA will have to update their facilities in order to achieve this goal and ACS can provide significant assistance thanks to its experience and knowledge acquired in Europe.”
What are your major commercial successes, in particular the more recent ones?
“Throughout the last few years, ACS has designed and built, amongst others, machines for the processing of keys destined to the OEM Automotive market, where a certain degree of precision, repeatability, and reliability are required. Therefore, with the help of our advanced machinery, several companies across the world can build keys and locks of remarkable quality.”
