Dec. 21, 2015: Top Notch Distributors, (www.topnotchinc.com) based in Honesdale, Penn., has acquired Boyle & Chase Inc., based in Hingham, Mass. The acquisition was effective December 15, 2015.

Together, we will be able to better serve customers through the opportunity of increased inventory, enhanced turn-around on deliveries and the same outstanding, quality service that customers have come to expect from both companies.”
Boyle & Chase, a distributor for 20 major lines of commercial and decorative hardware has been operating for more than 60 years. Top Notch Distributors has been distributing architectural door hardware since 1975 with a focus on residential, commercial and electronic access control products, parts and accessories. In addition to its Pennsylvania headquarters, Top Notch has locations in Earth City, Mo., and Carson City, Nev.

At this time, both companies will continue their day-to-day operations with no anticipated changes in the immediate future.
