Sargent and Greenleaf Awarded 2018 Governor’s Safety and Health Award
Sargent and Greenleaf (S&G), a subsidiary of STANLEY Security, was honored last week with the Governor’s Safety and Health Award during a ceremony held at the S&G headquarters in Nicholasville, Kentucky. Labor Cabinet Deputy Secretary Mike Nemes presented the award to S&G for achieving 1,101,029 consecutive production hours without a lost-time incident. This was S&G’s fourth year in a row receiving the award and sixth time since 2010.

The purpose of the Kentucky Labor Cabinet’s award program is to promote safety and health awareness, good sound work practices and to recognize the resulting reduction of injuries in the workplace. The Governor’s Safety and Health Award recognizes Kentucky businesses for outstanding safety and health performance, encouraging the development of programs designed to reduce and eliminate occupational injuries.
