Entrematic has begun the process of rebranding under the record name.
Entrematic, known for its Ditec brand of automatic door operators, has been a part of the ASSA ABLOY Group since 2010, working exclusively with distributors and retailers in the indirect channel. After ASSA ABLOY purchased the record group in 2020, the decision was made to merge the two businesses under the record brand name.
In a press release, ASSA ABLOY notes "Both brands have independently built a great market presence in North America with outstanding products, and we are confident this marriage will only make them stronger."
Entrematic will continue to work exclusively with distributors and hardware suppliers to bring security pros the products they know and trust. Both teams will remain, so security pros can expect the same support and service.
Changes still to come include a fresh new look, updated marketing assets and a revamped, easy-to-navigate website for both product lines at recorddoors.com.
