LockeyUSA introduced its latest innovation, the 2835-Adapter for Vinyl and Ornamental Gates. The 2835-Adapter brings the security, convenience and reliability of LockeyUSA mechanical keyless locks to the gate without the necessity for a gate box or welding.
The 2835-Adapter was aimed at retrofitting keyless gate locks and designed to work on a wide variety of gate formats. The 2835-Adapter installs on gates that range in thickness from 1-3/4 inches to 5 inches without requiring an extension kit and can accommodate gate gaps of 13/32–1-1/2 inches wide.
“We’ve received many requests for a way to easily install the 2835 Mechanical Keyless Lock on vinyl gates and existing ornamental gates without welding,” says Scott Wojcik, national sales manager at LockeyUSA. “The 2835-Adapter is exactly that solution, and we’re pleased to be able to bring it to market.”
The 2835-Adapter is compatible with the 2835 Mechanical Keyless Lever Lock and 2830 Mechanical Keyless Knob Lock, and it accommodates single- and double-sided combination locks, sold separately. The 2830 and 2835 are auto-locking and equipped with a passage function. LockeyUSA mechanical keyless locks are backed by a lifetime mechanical warranty.
