Sargent and Greenleaf has changed its training to single-day classes instead of two days. The single days will cover both locks listed below for a dual certification.
S&G 2890B – S&G 2890B, built to Federal Specification FF-L-2890B, is an integrated door lock designed to meet both security and life safety demands of highly sensitive SCIF environments. Equipped with single motion egress, the S&G 2890B Locking System allows for intuitive and safe egress from in a SCIF.
In this class, you will learn about the 2890B applications, variety of models, service points, and locking device installation. Upon successful installation of the 2890B locking system a technician installation certificate will be provided.
S&G 2740B – S&G 2740B lock was designed to meet Federal Specification FF-L-2740B and is approved for use in protecting our nation’s classified materials.
This class will provide instruction in the installation, setup, and programming of the S&G 2740B combination lock. Technicians must successfully complete the approved training class and pass a written exam at the conclusion of the class in order to become a registered technician in the S&G database.
All classes will be held at Palmer’s Security Solutions Training Facility in Warrenton, VA.
