Olympus Lock, Inc. announces the new Olympus T54C T-Knob Cylinder Replacement Kit for CompX/National T-Knob models C8154 and C8155, intended to replace failing cylinders in the field without replacing the entire handle. The T54C cylinder is solid brass for increased durability and finished in US26D. It can be keyed to match existing 4-pin or 5-pin systems.
The cylinder kit ships uncombinated with two ringed 4-pin keyblanks; 5-pin blanks are available separately. The T54C can easily be keyed to match your other existing T-knob locks, CompX/National pin-tumbler T-bolt locks or Olympus Lock’s easily rekeyable T37 T-bolt locks. Key-retaining or non-key-retaining function is not impacted by replacement of the original cylinder — this functionality is determined by the configuration of the T-knob lock itself and not the cylinder.
