Assa Maximum+

May 16, 2017

The Maximum+ restricted lock cylinders from ASSA give locksmiths the flexibility to use the same key profile for both high security and conventional cylinders in the same key control system.  With no sidebar, pins or springs, the cylinders help contain cost.   Based on the Maximum+ key profile, the non UL437 cylinders can be deployed on interior doors while the high security cylinders are used for perimeter protection.  The cylinder housing and plug are made of high quality brass while top pins are stainless steel and bottom pins and master pins are nickel silver.  There is a counter mill in each chamber to enhance pick resistance.  The cylinders have nine cut depths which will allow over 160,000 change keys under a single master key.  Maximum+ cylinders are available in restricted mortise, restricted key-in-knob/lever, interchangeable cores, restricted padlocks and restricted cam locks.  The Maximum+ utility patent is good through 2029.
