CompX Security Products has released the CompX ecoForce, a mechanical push button cabinet lock that does not require batteries, which is good for the environment and saves money.
ecoForce allows for one user code - from one to five digits long. If a user code is forgotten, ecoForce has a code discoverable feature and comes standard with a key override. Unique key and keyway allow for access when combination is forgotten.
ecoForce is available in two versions. The self-locking features SlamCAM, a spring loaded latch which allows the user to simply close the cabinet door or drawer without having to return the knob to the locked position. The manual version requires the knob to rotate the cam into the unlocked and locked positions.
Each ecoForce versions are available in two installation options: surface mount or recessed mount. Surface mount requires a ¾” mounting hole and secondary attachment point. Recessed mount requires the installer to remove material from the application to install.
Available in three cylinder lengths for varying material thickness and four keypad orientations, ecoForce is ideal for many applications including cabinet doors and drawers, storage enclosures, medical supply cabinets, tool boxes, and office furniture.
