They say March comes in like a lion and goes out like a lamb, which weather-wise may be the case, but here in Locksmith Ledger land we are gearing up for two big conferences in April – ISC West in Las Vegas, April 9-12, and SHDA in Nashville, April 29-May 3. These two premier shows never disappoint in bringing security industry professionals together to talk about the latest products, trends and best practices, not to mention all of the events and other quality networking and learning opportunities that take place at both shows.
This will be my ninth ISC West, a show that has withstood a pandemic during that time and come back strong, continuing to bring the industry’s best and brightest to sin city for a full week of learning and running around the exhibit show floor from booth to booth, checking out the latest and greatest products from the top security manufacturers. Many companies spend all year building up to ISC West, planning the launch of new products at the show and trying to create the biggest splash possible.
“ISC West is the culmination of the last twelve months of innovation in our industry. Each year, we look forward to this event, where we can meet with our customers and partners and learn more about their challenges and objectives,” says Angelo Faenza, Jr., head of Digital Access Solutions, ASSA ABLOY Opening Solutions Americas, in our discussion for this year’s show. “ISC West is always an excellent opportunity to learn about the latest trends impacting the security industry, whether you’re on the exhibit hall floor, attending the many educational sessions available throughout the week, or networking with other industry professionals.”
While this will only be my second SHDA conference, the energy and excitement this show brings reminds me very much of what you’ll find at ISCW, as the security professionals, manufacturers and distributors maximize all three days with quality networking meetings in a unique format that enables attendees to get the most out of their time, which is so essential and appreciated! Plus, the show is in Nashville this year – who can beat that?
I hope to see you in Las Vegas or Nashville next month!
