D&D's New Larger Shut It Four-Corner Mounting Bracket Offers More Installation Options

D&D Technologies, a world leader in high-performance gate hardware, has expanded its mounting bracket line by introducing three sizes of its Half Bolt-on line: 4-inch Half Bolt-on with aluminum, 4-inch Half Bolt-on with steel/aluminum combo and 6-inch Half Bolt-on with aluminum. These new brackets, suitable for 4- and 6-inch fence posts, are designed to reduce post flexing dramatically.

The wider brackets on the Shut It mounts enable anchor points to be positioned at the sides, rather than the center, of the fence post. This delivers increased stability and decreased flexing, which in turn reduces wear and tear on the post. These sturdy brackets, available in aluminum and steel, can handle gate loads up to 1,000 pounds. The high-temperature sealed bearings can be powder-coated, allowing the brackets to blend in seamlessly. Precision machining makes for nearly frictionless operation and long-term dependability, in all weather conditions.

“Our customers needed a larger mounting bracket solution.
