With these Contractor Grade Pivots, the weight of the door is supported by the floor, and the fasteners are in shear, as opposed to being in tension. Norton Rixson offers offset and intermediate pivots that can accommodate taller or heavier doors, as well as center-hung pivots, which allow the focus to be on the aesthetics of the opening.
