The HES 9500 electric strike is now shipping with UL 10C 3-hour fire rating. The product previously was rated for 90 minute UL 1 0C fire standard.
The design of the 9500 model series was updated in early 2010 and recently submitted for additional UL testing for the 3-hour fire rating in conjunction with Sargent 12-8800, Yale Security 7100F or 7200MF, or Corbin Russwin ED4200MA rim-type fire exit hardware devices in single-door applications.
