Xhorse has announced an updated version of its DOLPHIN key-cutting machine aimed at automotive locksmiths. The DOLPHIN II XP-005L has several new features, including an angle-adjustable 5-inch capacitive touchscreen and a protective shield.
A new more universal M5 clamp cuts standard single- and double-side keys as well as multiple laser-cut variations. (Additional optional clamps will cut Tibbe and single-side residential keys.) The M5 clamp takes the place of M1 and M2 clamps that had to be replaced frequently.
The machine’s built-in database covers more than 100 automotive brands, 2,000 vehicle models and 20,000 key codes.
The DOLPHIN II XP-005L is battery-powered and has a handle for portable transportation. It supports all-keys-lost functionality as well as key duplication, cut by bitting and find bitting. It also can be controlled via the Xhorse app and can be upgraded online through built-in Wi-Fi connectivity.
