Kansas City, MO – Midwest Wholesale Hardware, a national wholesaler of commercial door hardware and security products, opened a new distribution center on January 18, 2016, in Greenville, SC, providing all of the southeastern United States access to next day delivery of all orders.  This location is the 6th distribution center for Midwest Wholesale and means over 70% of the U.S. population now have next-day delivery, with over 98% between 1 and 2 day delivery.

Top Notch Acquires Boyle & Chase

Top Notch Distributors, (www.topnotchinc.com) based in Honesdale, Penn., has acquired Boyle & Chase Inc., based in Hingham, Mass. The acquisition was effective December 15, 2015.

O'Neil Named ASIS Executive VP, CEO

ALEXANDRIA, Va. -- ASIS International has named Peter J. O'Neil, FASAE, CAE, its new Executive Vice President and Chief Executive Officer. ASIS International (ASIS) is the largest membership organization for security management professionals that crosses industry sectors. O'Neil will succeed Michael J. Stack, who retired at the end of 2015 following a 22-year tenure as the organization's CEO.

Codelocks Adds Business Development Manager

Standalone digital lock manufacturer Codelocks, Inc. announces the appointment of Dotty Kaufenberg as Business Development Manager for North America. Working from the company’s offices in Irvine, Calif., Kaufenberg will be responsible for developing its electronic security distribution channels throughout the country and driving sales in Southern California. 

Having worked in the security industry for 30 years, Kaufenberg brings a wealth of access control experience to the company’s growing team. Early in 2014, Codelocks, Inc moved to larger premises where it could offer better technical services to its North American customer base. Since the move, the company has launched several new electronic lock product lines, including a SMART cam lock that can be managed from a remote location.

Commenting on the appointment, General Manager Joey Dalessio said: “Having worked in business development within the electronic security industry for many years, Dotty has the skills and contacts we need to help us further develop key sales channels. We are delighted to welcome Dotty to the team.”
