ALOA New Product Showcase
Congratulations to Keys Inc. for capturing first place in the ALOA New Product Showcase, held at the 2022 ALOA Security Expo July 29-30 in Las Vegas. The award was given based on a vote of ALOA members.
Keys Inc.’s new app is designed to give customers instant access to qualified locksmiths and emergency roadside service providers. Locksmiths are invited to enroll and will benefit from Keys Inc.’s targeted marketing campaigns. There are no monthly charges or subscriptions. Locksmiths set their service price and Keys Inc. collects secured credit card payments and then sends ACH payments to the locksmiths daily.
Rounding out the New Product Showcase were 10 additional products:
LCN 6400 Compact low-energy door operator from Allegion. Designed for use in a variety of institutional and commercial facilities, the LCN 6400 COMPACT can convert existing LCN 4040XP mechanical door closers to touchless solutions when combined with an actuator, which reduces the cost, labor and complexity required to automate an opening. (Locksmith Ledger will feature an installation of this product in an upcoming issue.)
Schlage ALX Series Grade 2 modular cylindrical lock. Although the Schlage ALX Series can be ordered and delivered as a complete, configured product, its modular design provides the flexibility to use the separate components of chassis, function and lever packaged kits to create a lock to meet your requirements.
Medeco 4 Maxum deadbolt. The Medeco Maxum deadbolt uses hardened steel inserts and rotating pins to provide drill and pick resistance in accordance with the UL 437 standard for safety for key locks. The Medeco 4 design includes a utility patent that provides protection against unauthorized key duplication.
Adams Rite DL100 wireless deadlatch with Aperio Technology. This advanced, narrow-stile electrified deadlatch is ready for retrofit, renovation or installation on any commercial aluminum door that has an existing MS door prep. The DL100 uses low-energy motorized EcoLatch actuator technology for silent operation and provides a MultiCLASS SE contactless card reader that supports 125-kilohertz and 13.56-megahertz credentials, with optional support for BLE or NFC mobile access.
